I was on vacation for a week (and left my computers searching away). When I got back, I realised that my W98 C433 was not able to connect to the net. I turned the connection back on and the completed WU made it's way to the database. That unit pushed me over 90%.

Of course I'm annoyed at the 14 WU's I "lost" because the connection wasn't working, but I'm glad I saw the unit that pushed me over 90%!

Congrats and much continued success.

That sounded like a greeting card.
Anyway keep on crunching.

LOL Orange Boy. Michael, you should try using SETIQ and you won't have to worry about not being able to connect to the server.

Congrats on the top 90%! :D

Also, as Sukhoi said, get yourself SetiQ so you don't have to worry about it not connecting to the 'net. With SetiQ the only downside is if your SetiQ server can't see the 'net but you always have 3-5 days of WU's stored anyway.

My problem is that I don't have a computer to run SETIQ on. I don't want to put anything on my main computer (I have the DNET RC5 client there) as I occassionally runs games and SETI is not as friendly about getting out of the way as the DNET client is. I haven't seen a Linux version of SETIQ to run off my linux box.

Maybe I'll look into it a little more and see about running it and SETI on my daughter's machine. She's three and occasionally turns her computer off after playing her games (I've convinced her that her computer is looking for "friends" all the time so she usually leaves it on, but she is only three and forgets sometimes).

SETIQ only takes up a tiny amount of resources & doesn't need to be on a machine with SETI on it ,as long as there is a connection to the SETI PC.SETIQ won't effect games at all
