Hilo, HI as number 25? No way. That place is so cold compared to Kona on the other side of the island. This list is rigged. :Q

New Orleans should be #1

For real.

92° with 286% humidity. This list does seem like a load of junk though.

Any city in Southern Louisiana is like this. I live in Lake Charles and it is always hot as hell w/ 100% humidity.

You guys didnt seem to notice they also took into account the average weight and stuff of people in thoose cities too. Humidity is a HUGE factor also, hence why Las Vegas isnt on there... I wasnt sweating when I was in Las Vegas and it was 95... however I sweat like crazy here in Chicago alot when its 85 cause its so damned humid alot.

Salt Lake is 31, population is similar to vegas in body size, the humidity is about 5-10% higher in SLC (although not really in the summer) but Vegas is 20^ warmer than SLC. Any list where SLC is #30 and Vegas doesn't even show up on the list has a serious problem.

I wouldn't even qualify it like that 🙂

I've lived north of Shreveport, in Slidell, and in Biloxi MS, and it's great!

Hey folks, I didn't write the list, I just ran accross it online and posted it for fun. Lighten up 🙂

Las Vegas isn't even on the list. 😕
I hereby pronounce that list officially stupid..

I hate to burst your bubble but have you ever been to the south? The temperature may not be as high as Vegas but the humidity is what kills you. I am from Spartanburg/Greenville which is number 19 on the list. I have now moved to Raleigh and I am amazed Raleigh isn't higher on the list.

I have been to Vegas in the middle of the summer and I was fine the entire time. Temperatures were in the high 90's when I was in Vegas and I thought nothing of it. Anytime it is over 90 here in the south I just about die. I haven't been to Texas during the summer so I couldn't comment on it 🙂

I can't figure out why there are any cities above the Mason-Dixon line. I would have thought all 50 would be surrounding the Gulf.

Houston got robbed.

How could I possibly sweat more down here?
No kidding. I lived in Houston for 5 years and left for D/FW because of the humidity. I can testify that I *much* prefer the weather in Dallas, yet this list has ranked Dallas as worse than Houston?

Have you ever experienced a Chicago summer? Hell, much of the Great Plains in the summer? It gets almost as humid here (sometimes more), plus there's almost no trees to find shade under. In fact, for some odd reason I get stickier here in the summer than I did in GA, SC or NC... I think that has something to do with all this freakin' corn growing in the fields.

And all this time, I figgered Dallas just seemed hot to me, cause I lived in Wyoming for 10 years.

I would've figgered Houston for #1. I'll never go back to San Antonio between Memorial Day and Labor Day.
