Top 5 New/Used CD's to buy?

Looking for the top 5 new/used cd's I should recommend to a friend of ours who is heading out to her freshman year this weekend.

Probably sticking to rock, pop, alternative... not too much rap, classical, country, etc. How's them for some guidelines?

Anyway, if you've got a few "must-haves", be they new or old, gimme a lead. I'm out of the loop with what all the kids are listenin' to these days.

Beck is a musical genius! He is amazinly talented and his songs are great to listen too. Good lyrics excellent music and a great performer in conert!
