I'm sorry. But any "Top Beer" List without Fat Tire Amber Ale is wrong.

As such, here are the beers I appreciate most (read: would drink most often if available):

Best:
1) Fat Tire - Amber Ale
2) Bitburger
3) Hacker Pschorr - Weiss Bock
4) Killian's Irish Red
5) Dos Equis XX Amber

Best beers, no particular order
Staropramen lager, great all-around beer, tastes good to food, by itself, with snacks, etc, you can't go wrong with Staro.
Urquell, pretty much the same as above, only slightly more bitter, might as well share #1
Hell beer, Swedish beer, very bitter, I love that, don't drink too many, something like 4 or 5 is enough before moving to something else, kinda reminds of Sam Addams, only more bitter.
Westmalle Tripple, Belgian Trappistes, damn good stuff, the cons are the high price and low availability.
Rochefort 10, same as above, though not quite as tasty, still damn good though.
Duvell, Chimay Blue, Grimbergen, all worth it, they're all good, just not as good as the above.
Bishops Finger, Spitfire, etc, a bunch of bitter ales, all very good.

Worst Beers
Budweiser(the American kind), as my father said, "Beer for women with bad teste"
Corona, pretty much the same as Bud, only not quite as bad, if you like water with a bit of beer in it, by all means, go ahead.
Pretty much any 7.5+ precent generic beer, some people(Belgians) can make beers that are strong and good, most people can't, and they should realize it.

ill agree to that. Ive had it and it is amazing

I really really really really REALLY have to disagree with you on that one. Maybe it was that particular brew or maybe it was because I was getting off a buzz from the Shiner, but a friend and I grabbed a 6-pack of Fat Tire and had some while watching a Mavericks game. That stuff tasted like, well, @$$. No better word to call it. I barely finished one before I had to quit because my stomach started churning and the aftertaste in my mouth made me want to cut my tongue off.

I wonder if you bought an expired batch or maybe it was just wierd? But I've never, ever, met someone who's tried it and didn't like it. Was the batch bitter or skunky? I'll admit, when amber beers go bad, they don't mess around.

Worst five (no particular order, not including malt liquor)

3. The Beast

Well... I assume that is Miller's MB?
If so I 100% agree.

Otherwise good order. I noticed you left the national brands out of our mainstream :).

1. worst, anything from Coors.

Those assholes bought the brewing company that imported Caffrey's into the United States from Ireland. They cut off all importing of Caffrey's so they could continue to sell Killians (which Coors makes and is NOT a real Irish beer, it was developed in the US by Coors).

<---life long boycott of Coors; unless they bring Caffrey's back into this country.

I guess I'm just a cheapskate or something, but my fav is Corona w/ lime.

Least fav would have to be Coors light. Tastes like piss acid.

Best: Guiness (on tap or in the special can), anything Deschutes Brewing (but particularly Black Butte Porter, Pine Mountain Pilsner and Mirror Pond Pale Ale), Tecate (I happen to really like this beer for some reason but only when eating spicy Mexican food), and Portland Brewing MacTarnahans

Worst: Budweiser, Milwaukee's Best, Schmidt, Lucky Lager, and *drum roll for all-time worst beer ever* Bud Ice

the weiss is my favorite but no way does dos equis belong on a top 5... its not as bad as all the other mexican 'imports' but not that great and definately overpriced. fat tire isnt my bit either

Freshness is the most important thing for me when it comes to beer. Beer does not travel very well.
