Found out that internationaly Ágætis Byrjun was released this year so .. ALBUM OF THE YEAR NO QUESTION ABOUT IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!



 
Linkin Park's Hybrid Theory album came out in October of 2000, not this year.

It still rocks though. 😀

OMFG, is this the most contradictory thread i have EVER seen?!!! It was only half a day ago, and umpteen threads down where i saw that linkin park was one of the most hated bands. And here i see that half of the posters are into them?! It's pretty funny if i must say so. K, here's my list, in no particular order.

1) CRYSTAL METHOD - Tweekend, w00t, finally, they're released another album, pure gold i tell you!!
2) Linkin Park - Hybrid Theory
3) Slipknot - Iowa
4) Stabbing Westward - Darkest days, Wither/blister/burn/peel - these weren't out in 2001, but their new album was, which wasn't as great as the aforementioned albums.
 
the tool album is probably the best album ive heard in a long time...probably back to The Downward Spiral

there is not a bad song on it and it flows amazingly.

by far the best album of the year. If you havent heard it, i'd suggest going and getting it
