What a POS article! Ain't worth reading if Ferrari nor BMW played along. I know that the BMW M5 will smoke a Jag XJR, and the BMW M3 is faster than the M5 to 60 by like .2 seconds. I'm sure the Ferrari 360 Modena is faster than the 355, Lotus Espirit, and Acura NSX. Where is Porsche for crying out loud? I have no doubt that the Porsche Turbo or GT2 would smoke all of them!

It's already not worth reading since the Viper's in there With such an advantage, there should be no need to check it out - and you should be glad those other cars you mentioned aren't in there - or they would have been shamed by the almighty Viper as well

The american magazine Popular Magazine tests these cars based on american standards, and their american cars won...Like they said in the article, it was based on acceleration, and not top speed etc...

Yea, it would have been great to see more cars....

sandigga: of course the Hennessey Viper is awesome, but we're talking about bone stock factory cars here. 450HP from the factory is nice, real nice. 500hp and 500ft/lb torque will be even nicer.

I've heard great things about that car, but why don't they sell it here in the US? I've heard rumors about exhaust emission issues and crash worthiness, but I don't want to believe rumors. Does anyone know the real answer?
