The Segway isn't on the Worst list? Color me shocked.
Dude, believe it or not, that's a great invention. It's easy to use (you can figure it out within a few seconds of standing on one), and works perfectly in many situations. For instance, many tours of Paris use them because anyone can use them and they can get around the city much faster than walking... otherwise, the tour takes longer and you see less.

I'm proud to say that I have an Emarker, a furby and a QueCat all sitting in my desk right now. To make it even worse, all three were gifts from the same brother.

I got my CueCat free at RadioShack.

I used Windows Me for over four years. It didn't seem any worse than 98b.
Ahhhh, you were the one. Bill Gates said there was a user that preferred it to 98. Didn't think you really existed. You win again, Bill Gates.

I used windows ME for awhile...but i don't like to talk about it.

I didn't agree with alot of the stuff on the top 10 list. Firefox wasn't anything really new and impressive.

Hahaaha! The first thing that came to mind was Microsoft Bob for the worst!!! I worked for EB whaen that came out and the one we sold came back! :Q What a piece of crap that was.

And I have a few of thoes Cuecats around...... somewhere....

i agree with all. glad they did the Naptser 1999-2000 dates because now napster is a tool of the industry. not being able to keep your songs unless you pay a fee each month? bullsh1t. oh well. glad to see I bought most of the top 10 when they came out

i thought the zip drive would be on it.

The zip drive ended up dying a slow, horrible death. But it was useful for a while, so it cant be on either list.

I am one of the few people who used the things a great deal and think it should have replaced floppies permanently.
Its sad that (in the year 2005) we still have to use them for some things.

The last time I was at Chicago Midway airport, the Chicago PD were using them to move around the terminal. I talked to one of the officers, and he said he loved it. Beats walking all day, I guess.

Can't use a flash drive for drive utility programs OR installing controller drivers.

Wow, the IMAC is on the list? That is BS, Dell should be on that list. Who would have thought ten years ago you could buy a smokin brand new computer with a monitor for less than 500$? I dont think the ipod should be #1, but it should be up there. Even though I thnk the ipod is just an overpriced mp3 player, it did make mp3 players hit the scene (its the reason why I bought a Dell DJ).

dell isn't a product. it's a company that created a revolution.
