I'm really quite pleased with how well the whitening I've been doing has worked. I was really self-conscious about my teeth for a long time, but then I got braces and whitened my teeth. Here's a couple of pictures of before and after the whitening. In both pictures I had already had braces.

I know I look like a goober, but everybody does in pictures taken at arm's length. :p

The whitening was somewhat expensive ($250), but to me it was well worth it. The pictures are pretty explanatory of that. I encourage anybody elses that's thinking of doing it to do so. I'm glad I did.

Sweet! How long did you use the whitening for?

My teeth are yellow from drinking coffee/tea and taking antibiotics for acne!

Actually just over a week. I'm about half done with the treatment. I'll probably stop early since I have good results already.

hmmm I am just starting using crest whitestrips... and it costs 50 buckss.. I hope it works.. definitely cheaper than 250 :D:D

Quite a difference :thumbsup: Do you smoke and/or drink coffee? Mine are kinda bad, I used to be a heavy smoker and while I always drank a lot of coffee, I really started guzzling it when I quit smoking. Been considering whitening but that's not cheap... otoh I'm sure it beats the hell out of crest whitestrips and such.

For $250 I don't think he was talking about over the counter teeth whiten which doesn't contain carbamide peroxide. Carbamide Peroxide is the main ingredient that whiten teeth. I have been using the Rembrandt 30% carbamide peroxide teeth bleaching and you'll see result within 2 or 3 sessions. But I stop using it because bleaching has made my teeth very sensitive. The sensitivity will go away within a week or two. If you're interested Read Here.

Benzoil peroxide doesn't fix ingrown hairs as far as I know.

And, dude, the ruggedly handsome look is so the in thing.

Really white teeth just look weird. I dont know why this has become such a big market.

i have a condition that makes my teeth all slotchy.
then i got older and began drinking gallons of coffee and smoking cigars and it has just gotten to the point where i feel nothing but shame about my smile.
actually, its not that bad. but im very self-concious about it.
id go in for the whitening thing becuase, although i agree that really white teeth are weird, i know it would just "normal-fy" my mouth.

tell your woman to get some as well

the crest white strips do very well, i get em for 30 bux at walfart.

they work great

She has mentioned wanting to get it, so at some point she might. She smokes (much to my dismay), but I hope she will stop soon. Oh well. She's a wonderful girl. I love her either way. :)

I used the Crest strips a few months back and they worked quite well. I even had a couple of people comment that my teeth looked very white before they knew I was using the strips.

I want to do Brightsmile or Zoom has anyone tried this before.
the treatments are about 400-600$ last one hour
