So it reached 95 deg F here in the NW burbs of Chicago. Supposed to hit 97 on Tuesday. Heat index around or above 110. I fvcking hate hate hate hate this weather.

I go outside for even just 1 minute and sweat like I've been eating habeneros dunked in Dave's Insanity Sauce.....

I half seriously am considering relocating to Barrow.

It's a nice 23C here (73F). I've put up with 30C+ before and yeah it's nasty. One day of it is not so bad, keep the windows shut and avoid opening and closing the door or using any kind of exhaust fans, and the house stays livable. But a week straight of it can be really brutal.

We just got rid of that here. Sent it your way. (you're welcome!)

It hit 104-105 here yesterday, and 109 a few miles south of me in Fresno.

Of course, our humidity was around the 12-15% range, so while it was scorching hot...it was a dry heat...and so almost bearable.

it's been awesome here, coolest summer I can ever remember. can count the number of days it's broken 80 on your fingers.

It's better than being cold.

It got down to 12C (50F) last night. 🙁

I hate winter so much.

lol you call that cold? That's nice especially if you plan to do work outside. Not too cold, not too hot. For indoor, yeah that could be a little cool if just sitting down not doing much but for going for a walk outside or something then it's perfect.

The other day it dropped to below zero here after a +30 day. I opened up all the windows and got the house down to 13 from like 25 before bed. Free air conditioning.

I rather be too cold than too hot. At least too cold, I can dress up or do something about it, too hot, and it's all sweaty and sticky and there's nothing you can do about it, especially if working.
