I wish...but none of them are in the northeast... :(

good, keep that garbage out of here

No taste in music? Back to listening to emo and country for you then.

no, i do have taste, thats why i don't listen to Tool.
i don't listen to emo or country either

In all seriousness, if a person cannot appreciate the quality of Tool's music, I can immediately conclude that the person has poor taste with regard to music. I realize the subjectivity involved, but any person of relatively mature and discriminating musical tastes can instantly find fulfillment in the sheer artistry of Tool's music.

I'd be very curious to learn what performers you consider to be exemplary in their genres.

quality, eh? usually the people listening to Tool are the ones with poor taste in music. They pretty much have 1 song because everything sounds exactly alike.

Dream Theater, Blind Guardian, Joe Satriani, Steve Vai, Ayreon, Edguy, Symphony X, Pagan's Mind, KMFDM

Your opinion has been noted.

even thought i've seen them a few times and they are always amazing, these days i am too cheap to pay that much to see a concert. plus, parking is always a hassle and you have to listen to the drunk douchebag next to you singing along. i'm just too sick of the concert experience to want to fork over more than $20 to see ANY band. and this is coming from a once-rabid concert-goer and music fan.

A person with "real" taste in music would have respect for other music forms ;)

I love Tool, saw them @Staples, probably going to see them again for their missed shows in San Diego or Vegas. That being said, I went to G3 and that blew away Tool's show 10 fold.

If you think all of Tool's songs sound the same, then you can't listen to music for sht.
