I was recently walking through my local hastings and I noticed a sign that said Tool is coming out with a new CD on August 23rd. There are allowing customers to reserve their copy. Has anybody else heard anything about this becasue it is not even on their website. How would Hastings know anyhting about this.

Interesting, I havent heard anything about a release date. All I knew was that they were working on one.

Awesome, I don't look forward to much these days, but new Tool music is an exception.

With all the crap out there today, you can always count on Tool to produce.

Seeing Tool at the Roseland in NYC was quite possibly the most entertaining night of my life... well, in a purely musical sense.

Thank god. Hopefully some new music videos will be put out also. Does MTV still play those?

eMotive? I thought it was a great album... their cover of Imagine was eerie. But if you're a warmonger, eMotive is definately not for you.

Flame me all you want, I just like APC's music better. They have a better sound in my opinion, and their albums are terrific (Well, maybe except EMotive, I couldn't really get into that one). Tool hasn't released a good album in years.

APC is great, but not in the same league as Tool imo. Tool hasn't had a single bad song, about the closest was Schism, though only because I heard it 5,000,000 times thanks to FM radio.

Wonder if this has anything to do with anything.

Text

Read a rumor somewhere that they would release a live CD called teleincision, but who knows.
