Well, it wasn't that hard actually. The math section was harder than I expected, however, the English section was quite easy. The test was too damn long though 😛 and there were some weird people there, other than that it was pretty damn boring.

My Estimated Score:
1000

My Real Score:
Bah! Off by 50 pts. I got a 1050

Right..Harvard and the like are the only schools that really care about SATs...

Dude, SATs are important for all decent universites in the nation.

work on that score, remeber the sat math section is just a bunch of easy algebra and geomotry questions. do better. 1000 is a lousy score
 
I can understand doing badly on the verbal parts, but the math parts are patheticly easy😛
 
Is the American SAT the same as the Australian SAT - School Assessed Task? Do you have GATs? (General Assessment Task, general knowledge stuff)

Ah, I just couldn't help but laugh at this 🙂 I don't care for grammar on these boards but in this case it was just too funny.

In all realism, for your age that's a good score. I remember PSATs being given in October/November, not at the end of the yr, but oh well. What gr are you in? Don't worry about the math too much, that just requires learning the stuff in algebra and geometry (8-10th gr. math)

ditto! if you cant handle SAT math forget about any calc courses hehe... verbal aint all that bad either, i got a 670, not bad for being a FOB i guess 😛

dont blow smoke up his ass, 1000 is poor at any age above 13.
this is a little sick but my family lied to me telling me that my sister got a 1400, I know im smarter than her so i couldnt get a lower score so i took it three times to beat 1400, do what you have to, if i was your older brother i would ridicule you until you did better 🙂

on a lighter note:
you seem like a smart guy, dont settle, for anything, especially in school stuff, some people are born smart some people work for it, whichever you are you can do it!
 
I was one of those kids who thought the SATs were the biggest test of my life and what not. In retrospect, i could of gotten a score 300 pts lower and still have gotten into Michigan.

Actually, the national average is just above 1000, so don't fret about getting only 1000. Now you wont end up in Harvard, but neither did 99.9% of the population and everyone seems to be fine.

hrm, i think survivor is real and I got a 1540 on the SATs (yes, i'm gloating...wouldnt you? 🙂)
