I see a lot of high tension power lines!

But the Davis park logo and the old brick building and bridge were sweet shots!

mmm..too lazy now to take pics of my neighborhood, but if you've seen the pics that julesmaximus posted, it looks very similar to that... but he lives a bit more north from me.

I see that you live in Illinois. Man, I don't think I can ever live there. Chicago, although a very beautiful city, is too quiet. It's annoyingly windy; hot and humid in the summer, and unbearably cold in the winter.

And it's unbelievably flat. I couldn't handle the flatness. it's..just too damn flat. I got anxiety attacks just from looking at the ever expanding flatness. I've also been to Bloomington... arg wtf place is that?

Yep, north county coastal. I love it here! I sometimes ride from Oceanside harbor or Carlsbad down to the top of Torrey Pines and back. Can't beat this area IMO. :thumbsup:

That was the idea of those pics. I love that type of stuff. Rockford isn't as bad as I make it look in a lot of my pics. lol

I thought they reminded me of pictures of Pripyat as well. Also, some of the pics seem to have a rather phallic theme.

I go to UCSD and I have that view from my dorm window! Is that Scripps Institute of Oceanography?
 
Nice photos, work on exposure control and composition. Also post processing could help your current photos.
