I had multiple piercings but never got the ear stretching piercing because I didn't like the potential for permanent scarring and also I simply didn't like the way it looked. On the flip side I've known plenty of people with and without those particular piercings. I can tell you some of the nicest people I knew stretched their ears and some of the biggest dickheads I've ever met had nary a single visible body modification on them. Go figure right?
