Sushi. I ate it weekly for about half a year, then got completely sick of it. Now i eat it occasionally, maybe once a month.

I do this all the time! (Or so it seems)
My last food "kick" was for cold sandwiches, specifically P&P Loaf, on white bread, one slice Provolone, one slice Pepper Jack, & lettuce, no dressing.
I had this (almost) every day for 2-1/2 weeks. Then suddenly I didn't want any more. (I only eat one meal a day, BTW)
I eat normally most of the time, but occasionally I will get stuck on a certain food, sometimes for days on end.

Cherries....

I ate so many fresh cherries, then wrecked my motorcycle. All I can remember from that day is puking cherries over and over and over in the emergency room. Just the sight of cherries makes me feel sick.

It's called a food aversion (sic?)

You only eat one meal a day and it's a sandwich... with probably less than 400cals?

In HS, I had cheetos with my lunch everyday for a couple months. By the end I didn't really like cheetos anymore. Now, about 6 years later, I sorta like cheetos again

Man, I can relate to this thread! There was a period of about two years where I had non-stop cravings for Mongolian BBQ. Seriously. I would head to this great restaurant at least three or four times a week and eat myself silly. I adored that "Rooster Sauce" and would pile it on.

About three months ago, the craving came to a screeching halt. One day while eating, I just suddenly decided I was sick of Mongolian BBQ. Haven't been back to that joint ever since.

mmm is the Mongolian BBQ in Texas similar to what's up here? You go into the restaurant buffet style, pile on a dish with the meat, vegetables, sauces/spice that you want, and then they grill it in front of you?

That's one thing I've never been able to get sick of, no matter how much I ate.
I did get tired of the Stouffer's french bread pizzas after a few months, but now I eat them every once in a while.

Yep, Mongolian BBQ here in Texas is done the same way. Actually, I think that's what I liked best about it. You'd get your bowl and then walk the line tossing all the veggies and meats into it. Then, my favorite part, you'd experiment with all the sauces and such. I made sure to mix it up so that it'd be different each time. That's what I looked the most forward to. Even though I never cooked a thing, I felt like I was the chef and the final product was all my creation.

Too bad I don't have that craving any longer. :(
