If I feel like I have bugs crawling on my skin, is that a sign that I drank too much caffeine?

Its not a crawling "under" the skin feeling, more like on top on the skin.

How about a buzzing in the ear?

What is the sweet spot of caffeine? Bugs, but no ringing in the ear? Or ringing in the ear and no bugs?

Been shooting up meth lately? :p

I'm kidding. Just quit drinking coffee/pop for a couple days and see how you feel. I drank a shitload of caffeine yesterday and I felt like ass.

I had a higher than usual amount of caffeine this morning and my heart was racing and my hands were shaking for about an hour.

There's been a few times in my life where I drank way too much caffeine, but I never felt like things were crawling on me. I would get twitchy, have trouble focusing, my heart would be going a million miles an hour, and it was just generally uncomfortable. But bugs on your skin? That's PCP territory.

There is NO SUCH THING as "too much caffeine."

Sounds like you have "cooties." Have you been in the vicinity of a girl lately? :p

Sigh... I really must drink bad coffee ( no decaf, that is heresy) or i must have a different body chemistry. Coffee calms me down and makes me more relaxed. I can even sleep after a few cups.

If I have an average amount of caffeine (a soda, a cup of coffee) it puts me to sleep. Any more than that and I get jittery. 5 Hour Energy's work great for me, though.

When I get used to something it relaxes me and makes me sleepy. It's weird because that applies to almost everything. Metallica and Dragonforce songs both make me drowsy, and if I've played a game too much it will make me nod off in the middle of playing it.

Too much caffeine does actually cause people to hallucinate. Remember, Hallucination is not restricted to sight only.

So yes, skin crawling feeling can very well be from drinking too much caffeine.

I've had too much caffeine before and never felt like anything was crawling on me. It just makes my heart pump fast, and I feel like I'm having a panic attack.

Dizziness attack and slight feeling of fainting but never bugs.

I was doing Americanos + Extra shot in the morning, pre-workout drink (Jacked, NO-Explode, 1MR etc), another coffee before I drove home, and sometimes during dinner I would have a cup.

That being said, I was relying on it way too much and I cut it all when school went out. Im currently trying to go a month without it just to ease my tolerance right now.

it wasnt your coffee.

someone replaced your creamer and sugar with cocaine and ground up methamphetamine, respectively.

now wait for the voices to start talking to you.
