too many kazaa lite versions

now that i have adsl safely set up on my sisters' pc the first thing they want is kazaa [lite]; i use bittorent myself but KL++ [2.43] for eclectic stuff like indian music
did a google for kazaa lite and i got a few different versions:
kazaal lite resurrection
K-Lite 2.6
K-lite 2.7 [beta i think]
kazaa lite revolution
kazaa lite K++

so which is the one to use???
 
even though i don't use kazaa anymore, back in the day i had no problems with k++.

Don't get yours from google searches though. Get it from Oldversions.com or something.
 
maybe they do but i havent found anything else with hindi songs....

re where to get it from - i have the installer for 2.43 on my pc which i could use but just wondered abotu the pros/cons of the plethora of versions
 
never use anything called kazaa
all the lite versions have spyware in them.....though... I would recomend setting up a virtual pc with either virtual pc or vmware and install kazaa on that
 
Kazaalite (the spywarefree one) no longer exists. Most, if not all are infected now. KazaaLite was shut down because it was a copyright violation of Kazaa Media Desktop, so the name was never copyrighted. Therefore, many new lites poped up that were worse than the regular kazaa in most cases.

All current ones perhaps, but I'll guarantee the one I have doesn't. The zip is probably close to five years old fwiw.
 
I still have the install of K-Lite 2.4.3 and I've got it backed up in about 4-5 different places because it's such a PITA to come by. It doesn't include any ad/spyware (at least, none found by the big scanners) and it comes with a variety of Extensions too. PM me if you want it.
