actually i did it for both here and TFNN, and my gifts were great from both.
 
Im gonna do it again this year, but I hope I dont get the same asshole I got last year.

It was supposed to be a MINIMUM of $20 and the dumbass gets me a fucking woot shirt. What a shithead.

As for me, I got my SS over $40 worth of swag.

If it was through the reckoning part of shirt.woot that shirt cost 15 + 5 for shipping overnight/international? Not saying it was or wasn't, but there is the possibility it was 20 bucks.

The last time I did it a few years back I sent some dude some massive, I think 5lb Hershey bar. I think there was something else that was small, but it was mostly the Hershey bar. And there was a shipping snafu so it arrived late. He thought I was an ass but then it got there and then he thought I was a dumb ass. But seriously : He said he had a good time, took it to school and people were like "who would spend money on that" .. oh 🙁

It sounds like people need to stop being jackasses. I think that sounds like a fun gift and I would be happy with a t-shirt too. It's an online secret santa FFS, but I guess it's really the same as any other gift giving situation, where some people will give more than others and certain people will feel ripped off for whatever reason, just because that is how they are.

No kidding. I sent Lolawiz a bag of hershy kisses and barely had money to afford to ship it to her. I almost lost my mother to failing kidneys that year and had all my money tied up so we wouldn't lose the house and/or utilities. I even wrote a note in the gift apologizing for not being able to spend more that year.

What happens? She bitches about me choosing to spend money on my dying mother instead of on her fucking christmas gift and I've been repeatedly bashed publicly by amdskip for being a cheap skate and lots of other filthy completely undeserved insults even years after "the incident."

Hey, that woot shirt was a real pain in the ass to get. It took me like 20 minutes to dig that shirt out of my hamper and then another 4 days to put a stamp and mail it. :|

EDIT: Seriously, join the SS. For the most part its been a great experience for me. I definitely plan on doing it this year and intend on hooking up my SS.
