I bought a new case a few days ago, and along with it, my first temperature monitoring thing. I'm sorta worried about the temperature readings, though, because they seem almost too cool. making me wonder if I installed the probes wrong.

here's the setup:

-Cooler Master ATCS case
-1 outtake fan in the back, 2 intake fans in the front, and one intake fan on top
-Chaintech Zenith motherboard
-AMD Barton 2500
-WD 36 GB Raptor
-WD 250 GB SATA drive

there's about half an inch of space between the two harddrives, which is where the HDD probe is

now here are the temperatures:
CPU - 35 C (goes up a bit on heavy load, and I've seen it go as high as 45 C after putting all the case fans on minimum power)
HDD - 21 C
SYS - 25 C (probe is in the air path of the heatsink fan and also located pretty close to my video card)

ambient room temp is about 22 C

anyone else think that the CPU temp seems a bit low? as recomended by the Kingwin Panel, I didn't install the probe directly on top of the CPU, but I installed it on that plastic area above the CPU, still under the heatsink.

congratulations, it is cool, but nothing can be called too cool, too cool would be -100º Celsuis using a terrible peltier, or liquid nitrogen, even there it is harmfull while there is not condensation that can cause short cirtuits.

my big concern was not so much about the dangers of my CPU being too cold, but rather, about my CPU probe working properly... but if those temps are within the normal range, I'm ok with it :)
