I really pitied him b/c his job seemed so soulless but one day I was listening to some pbs radio game show and he called in and he seemed like such a nice, normal guy. The interviewer gave him a lot of crap (its PBS) and he took it with lots of class and stuck around and enjoyed the game. He seemed like a down-to-earth guy stuck with a shitty job (not the whole Karl Rove a-hole thing), and a lot of people are in that situation imo. It could have been just a good performance though, although with Cheney's wife was on the same show, it was obvious she was full of it.
