Just read on another forum that it was just announced on ESPN radio so no link to back it up....

Now all the psycho Dallas fans that were freaking out because they thought Romo would be franchised (and then signed by another team) can relax, Romo isn't going anywhere any time soon.

Damn...very nice, good for him. He seems like a nice, easy going and non-asshole-ish guy.

No, $67 million for a QB that led the cowboys to a 12-5 record over the past 17 games.

When you said the Pat's stop winning did you mean "almost the entire AFC"?

Looking good for the cowboys over the next few years.

Doesn't look like anyone can beat the Patriots this year, but give the cowboys another year or two and see where they are.

If you are going to idolize someone at least spell their name right.

Also, yes Peyton is better that's why he makes more. Tony is a top5 QB in this league though and if he can get in done in the playoffs will get even more money later.

For sure, need to shore up the defense (secondary primarily). Nice to have Romo, TO (for 1 more year at least), Crayton, Barber III, Ware, B James, etc all tied up though.

Man.........I just don't get it anymore.

What do you do with 67 million dollars?? (Which will probably look hilariously like a pittance compared to the next 6 years of endorsements) Double >

A-Rod is going to get close to $30 million a year with his next contract. Romo is poor compared to many MLB players, picked the wrong sport :)

Tiger Woods is the smart one, make a ton of money and don't have to worry about 300lb linebackers trying to kill you or guys throwing 90mph baseballs past your head.

Time to upgrade that Bush now! I hear Bridget Moynahan is single... He could raise Brady's kid.

NE 48 - DAL 27?

Romo: Haha! Your child is mine, Brady! Zing! Haha!

So he'll be able to keep playing through his 50-60s if he chooses to and continue to rake in the cash while other pro sports players have to stop in their mid-late 30s.
