BF2 should be cool with a joystick if you use the planes/helis a lot, though any other task might be made more annoying...

... or you could just reinstall TIE-Fighter and feel awesome again. If only.

If you want to get into flight sims, this would be a good way to see if it's interesting to you or not. Although limited, it has enough buttons for a beginner...the rest can be run through the keyboard easily enough.

If you enjoy flying, upgrade to something better.

I also use my stick for racing games (i have a separate throttle piece though which makes it more feasible)
