I hit the wrong button and only got two LOL I am that 1 person who did :) I figured better to get 2 in the BOC than no BOC at all.

I really really really wanted that HP 9650 printer from a while ago. I NEED a wide format printer and that was a great price. So what has other people gotten from the BOC?

The only time I was able to get in on a BOC deal I received a very nice camcorder bag, an Iomega zip case (I use it to take AC chargers and misc cables on the trips), FM Radio/watch (my kid uses it) and 3 priority pucks. Well worth $8.00 I paid.

He/She is no different than the people (person) who posts Dell's Outragious Deals every week even though most aren't that great. It's so people see their deal site in the sig and hopefully click on it. How much money is to be made running YADS (Yet Another Deal Site)?

Not sure why many of you are being so skeptical. Woot has been around for a while now and has a great reputation. BOC nights are a special event so thanks for posting OP.

theres nothing wrong with woot, i check it daily... but thats the thing. i dont need someone to post every night that there is a new thing on woot... thats kinda the point of woot, you check it daily. if there is something especially good, post it to remind people. but posting it daily is just pointless.

- oh and good call dbleoslow, i didnt even notice that he had one of those sites in his sig.

For the last THREE BOC's (all of them since I've been watching woot), the day of the BOC is the ONE day I don't check woot, and I miss it. :|

I'm a little disappointed as I was expecting BOC (Baller Out of Control).

I'm gonna to have to start playing hardball. I've just scheduled the woot page to open up on my browser automatically every weekday at 12:00am. If I'm awake which I usually am, I'll be guaranteed to see it. :)

I dont understand woot at all. I've seen plenty of threads in the Hot Deals section of total waste of space products. I've never actually seen anything worth while on their website for sale. Any information as to why people love that site so much?

do a price comparison when another item is posted. woot is usually $10-20 cheaper, sometimes more.

Not like everyone posting "bump" in random threads doesn't do it, too. :p

possibly true, but i have never seen anything that is something that I would even care to have. I guess there is just different things for different people :)

How do you set this up? I'd like to have my browser do that too!

I second that. I can't tell you how many times I've gone to check that site and it's some remote controlled car that stays up there for days.

While I don't want to encourage any more BOC competition, my last one included a nice laptop bag, a John Wayne DVD, a flying monkey (a stuffed monkey on an elastic band that made a funny screaming noise when launched), and a neat paper holder. All for $3 + $5 shipping.

A good deal, but the fun is getting in on the deal and waiting to see what actually shows up!

Sure you're looking at the right site? A new item shows up daily at midnight central, whether the last one sold out or not. They don't roll over day to day...
:)

btw, last BOC I remember (I don't check the site as often as I used to) folks were getting home theater systems, some $300 value or something in that area...
