Well that was different.
I like sci-fi shows that can have lighthearted moments (see: not BSG), but holy moly was that campy. The Amok Time music track really sealed the deal - it was hilarious, but they probably took it a bit too far. I'm not even sure how to evaluate that as an episode, it was that far out in la la land.
I do think the Fargo cameo was underused though since they didn't actually have him show up until half-way through. Or for that matter why the head of GD is peddling video game systems.
As for the B-plot, I'm trying to figure out how femme fatal can lie in Jinks' face without Jinks noticing. It somewhat defeats the purpose of his ability (though the writers also seem to forget Pete's vibes).
PS Pete's actor has moobs, especially with that filter they were using
