I was really excited about this show. I really was. I love heist and confidence scam movies. Not surprisingly, I loved the movies Heist and Confidence, along with The Score, Thomas Crown Affair, After The Sunset, etc.

I even like it when the goons are ghetto, like in Gone In 60 Seconds. They were thugs with brains.

Thief is a terrible show. I watched the pilot. Sorry, you are not going to convince me that these guys are cracking safes and suspending from ceilings a la Mission Impossible. The writing is terrible. The acting is bad. It's just lame all around. They had that chick like that likes to show her chest (from Starship Troopers). That made it fun for half the show, then she died in a car accident. WTF?
