it would have been better if Carter and the kid would have gotten it on.

BSG was good

reminds me of the kid in the movie "birth" where nicole kidman thinks the kid is her dead hubby.

He doesn't talk too fast, you just listen to slow. 😉

I have no problem understanding him...

😕

Oh, and he needs more DNA treatments on the machine in Anubis' lab before he can ascend...

The first episode of SG-1 was 😎 I do think that Anubis has more children though.

I can't believe the council leader is going to swallow this Ori BS! :| Tt's always nice to see Gen. Hammod though 🙂

Keep watching... 😉

I think the 1st episode of SG-1 was better than the 2nd, and one of the best in awhile.

The character who played Anubis' son played it extremely well IMO.

Great episode. I have a theory that they may end up using the machine on themselves, then we can have SG1-Super Troopers to destroy the wraith, and ascend to fight the Ori.

My theory on SG-1 is they are going to try and turn the pryors(sp?) against the Ori. They talked a lot in this episode about how the pryors are being used as pawns by the Ori and don't realize they are following a lie. My guess is the jaffa leader will be part of that, and may be the first of the pryors to turn on the Ori. They made a lot of his wanting the best for the jaffa, and not wanting to harm the rebels.

Just my take on it...

😉

Hmmm... the Jaffa leader, as power hungry as he is, does have the advancement of the Jaffa close to his heart. You theory sounds valid IMO Insane3D

Both episdoes of SG-1 and BSG seem to be pretty awesome. The new Mitchell guy is really growing on me, I like him. I miss Richard Dean Anderson, but this guy isn't too bad either.

Ascend-O-Meter! 😀

One other thing that was interesting, the Ori are just the other side of a civil war with Alterans (ancients). The Ori were more religious, but what exactly did they worship?...

I think it was explained they realized they could gain power by having large numbers of humans worshipping them. The ancient/kid explained it...

Right. I was wondering if there was something beyond their level of ascention though. I dout they will go that route, unless mass worship is required to ascend even higher? who knows... It does seem like it gives them a lot more power somehow. Maybe they can become Q! 😛

He did say they wanted to be worshipped so they could ascend, IIRC, which means there may be higher levels of ascension.
It would also explain why the Ancients are so worried, because if they get more worshippers -> more ascencion, then they can kick the Ancients ass.

I think SG-1's writers can smell their own demise. They know they're over the "limit" for sci-fi shows (WTF, 9 seasons!?) and as such are trying to get this Ori story arc over with as fast as possible. I wouldn't be surprised if they wrap it up before the end of the season.

Oh how I do love you Canadians.:beer:

Atlantis 2x09 "Aurora" aired in Canada Monday night, and they are sharing the wealth.😀
