depends on the extend of the reprogramming. He had quite the anguished look at the end. In any case, I hope we see more of them in the future. They are kind of interesting, not your typical bad guys.

Well they can't have 3 ZPM's in Atlantis, otherwise Rodney would just pack up the city and fly it home.:p

I do find it interesting looking at the differences between Stargate & Star Trek. Remember all those episodes where they had to defend Data's rights as a living being just like everyone else? And then you switch over to Stargate where they're just like, let's destroy them all without a second thought!

SG-1: Was the best "monster" episode since season 5 The Tomb

Good use of the stalker camera.

SGA: Never fail to leave a bad guy alive. Sheppard should have hit that replo-ancient with a drone or towed him into the sun!

Both were pretty good. I liked the team building theme of SG-1, as someone mentioned before, they didn't have much of that in season 9.

SGA - I thought the replicators were created by some child as a toy or something? I'm so  I thought that plot line was dead!! Just go talk with Thor & Co. and get that disruptor technology.

On an unrelated note, when it became obvious that it was the replicators all I could think about was the "Who?s your daddy!" Line O'Neil used on a mob of the little buggers :)

Teal'c saying "ironically" ZOMG  Only took 10 years but he is learning ... slowly :) That was probably the best moment of the two episodes :D

i don't see why the evil replo-anchient couldn't turn himself into a little ship and chase after them.

it never was asguard...... SG1 goes to a planet where the entire population is dead.... they find an adolecent android girl who made the replicators as a toy and wiped out the entire planet by accident. They figured she was the cause of the replicatiors in SG1.... until now.....

She's still in the story, but she was pregnant during filming. That's why she and Shanks are gone, because she delivered their child around the time S10E04 and S10E05 were being filmed.

Dam those alien, they have to impregnant the pretty one. LOL

Comparing Atlantis with SG1, I preffer SG1. They seem to be more real. Atlantis somehow is weak and the danger doesn't seem so real. (Example 1 was one of the guy got turn into a 'raith' however you spell it. They captured him and still he manage to escape every single time and beat the crab out of them during his escape. And yet the strongest 'Raith' race don't seem to be able to attack atlantis. Example 2, with all weird technology they've encounter it seem they don't care to take any precaution. SG1 everytime the stargate open they took precaution but on Atlantis, they seem to be more relax on this. Dr Weir seems weak. She don't seem to take charge of her team.)

I don't watch it often. O ya, one thing seep to happen a lot in SciFi was "Captain, our shields will fail in 5 mins" and people seem to be able to run everywhere that would take 2hrs and still meet this 5mins restriction and avoid disaster. LOL

The SG-1 replicators were created by the girl android, and were made of little (but visible to the human eye) building blocks.

The Atlantis replicators are semi-organic nanites (not visible to the naked eye), that are clumbed together into ancient form bodies.

The two are similar as far as being "replicating life forms", but everything else is different.

Shanks is the playboy of the science-fiction world. He's nailed more actresses than Kirk did aliens.:p
