I'm just amazed at how good that episode was. The Ancient in Atlantis, Daniel chewing said Ancient out, Rodney running from a lemon, the twofer with the gate and the Wraith/Ori; it was all just bloody brilliant. This is one of the top SG-1 episodes for sure.:)

agreed. this SG-1 episode kicked ass. so much happened! and the convergence of the two series certainly was cool. this was season-finale-good.

SG1 was great.

Atlantis...aggravating, frustrating, kinda just want to yell at the TV sort of thing. But I'd say it was good because that's what was intended ;) Some pretty good looking ladies though :D

The Stargate crew has always been good at landing good looking extras.;) As for the episode, it was decent; a nice experiment that didn't go particularly well. I did however like Shep punching Becket.:p

I agree with you completely ViRGE on the SG-1 episode...but I don't see how you can even call that SGA episode "decent"...filler...

You don't see them doing this with BSG...I wish they would stick to that on all three...

The last one was decent two parter right, then an epsiode like this, it seems like a waste. I mean, is it a prequisite that every Sci-Fi show do the obligatory phermone/power/drug take over almost everyone, then someone who is unaffected for one reason or the other saves the day...

I think they blew an opportunity to tie the two episodes together in a dual crossover two parter...now that would have been much better...

Anyway...just my .02..and I'm rambling...

True, they could have stuck this in almost anywhere. I still found it amusing, but I have an odd sence of humor sometimes. :) I guess he reminded me of a character named Bane in The Death Gate Cycle, which I finished reading recently.

I think Stargate is on too much in my house. Tonite I gave my 5.5 year old a cup of juice and told him to be careful not to spill it. He nodded his head and said "Indeed".

SG1 episode was pretty good, woohoo.... other than them making Rodney X 100 annoying

SGA was just sickening...
1) The IOA is going to be all over them. An entire base compromised, only saved because one guy had a cold?
2) Lucius was annoying, and the whole episode was predictable

The only funny thing in the entire episode, was when shepard punched becket, and when rodney got shepard to clean his room :)

Holy crap that was the best SG-1 ep I've seen in a long, long time. When Daniel was giving his "Somebody's got to take a stand" speech...

*chills*

Lucius was suppose to be annoying. I thought it was well done, but yes it was a real generic episode that seems like you have already seen it before. Episode 6 of this season sounds like it is going to be worse.

SG-1 kicked some serious ass. It's about time they put a small dent in the Ori's plans.

SG-A was weak.

If you listened to the intro of SGA, they kind of did tie the episodes together. I definitely would have liked a full crossover, but they did manage to imply that more went on during the missions than was shown on screen. When McKay was done explaining the gate harvesting program to Ronan, he muttered "It was Carter's idea."

sg1 was one of the best episodes they have ever done... especially recently.

atlantis was majorly dissapointing. i know they have to do this from time to time but god what a horrible episode. other than the gate network not a single thing happened in the overall story. the key to doing these "episodes" is making sure good stuff happens in the overall story and that wasnt the case with atlantis.

I must have missed that, but it's almost like why bother when the episode was that bad...and had nothing to do with anything really...

I still don't understand the need for these type of filler episodes... BSG does fine just keeping on story every show, why must the SG series do them?

Don't get me wrong, "filler" episodes might have their place if they were actually good episodes, but more often than not they are just something stupid some producer thought was a good idea. You would think they would be more creative in these type of episodes since they don't have to stick to the overall story so much...

Anybody know if Richard Kind has appeared on SG1? It's not listed in his IMDB profile, but I wouldn't be surprised if they're wrong. If he has, he'd have been in every incarnation of Stargate; Lucius last night and one of the researchers in the movie.

Eh, if it was like BSG, I wouldn't bother watching Stargate at all. I like the campy/serious mix, BSG is fun to watch but the sopa opera nature is just too much at times.

I just watched them last night :D SG1 was fantastic, I haven?t seen an SG1 ep that good in a couple of years. Seeing all the SGA and SG1 teams in the same room was cool. That SG1 ep was definitely season finale type good, and its only the 3rd one, hopefully that means the real finales will be as good!

SGA ... it was predictable and dumb, but I enjoyed the womenz and found it interesting to see them out of character.

I think it is because, like most geeks, he has the hots for Carter.

Rodney's confession to Carter about when he was stuck in a Jumper and his hallucinations of her helped save him was hilarious.
