I liked SG1, the Auri are getting interesting. However no more Vala for a while I guess.
Atlantis was ok, but you know they aren't going to kill off those two main characters so not very exciting.
BSG was meh. Why not fly closer by to the cave than walk?

Because there are trees near the cave. And they can't follow a path if the path is a bunch of gravestones under a tree.

sg1: interesting...humans are fuxored..

if the ori can create force fields that feed off energy, sg1 might as well give up now.

sga: I like this episode, specifically the character development of ronin

it would've been sweet if mckay would've figured out how to control the new power source...

bsg: boring as usual...but who here suspects that the new captain is a cylon?

Nice job on the black hole powered super-stargate. Our galaxy is in _big_ trouble given that level of technology.

... and SGA was a good look at how McKay is more flawed than Carter, so self-confident and arrogant that he thinks he can solve anything. But not one-dimensional either, since he accepted and didn't try to deny how badly he screwed up.

Holy crap! A planet-sized stargate! Now this is getting interesting.😀 I don't like how they handled Vala though.

It wasn't planet sized, it was big enough for a capital ship to come thru...

SG1: ROXXOR. Vala is deaaaaaaaaaaaad, yaaaaaaay! (for now) I was getting SERIOUSLY sick of her. And now that SG1 is a little more... practiced... in the use of enormous explosive devices, they'll need more. They now know that they can't use them directly against the priors, but they have some interesting utilitarian applications... Such as destroying enormous orbital stargates that are otherwise undefended.
Atlantis: That power source will be back. McKay WILL figure it out. That's how they'll ultimately defeat the Wraith, mark my words. Also, McKay will name it the "ZedPM BBQ" when he realizes he WON'T be getting that nobel prize because the stargate doesn't exist. Also, Ronon wins even more badass points for pwning that dude in the gut.

Atlantis, I wish McKay would die or just leave i hate his charater, he is too much over the top for me.

BSG, sorta boring.

What's a capital ship? 😱

I thought they said it was big enough for an entire armada/fleet to come through at once? 😕

They were exxagerating. It was 400m, they even said so.

And a capital ship = a big ship.

what are the ori exactly?

are the evil ascended beings or are they evil semi ascended beings?

I thought ascended beings could do anything they want...if so, why don't the ori blow up earth just by thinking it?

or, are they semi-ascended beings and all they know is the knowledge but they can't do anything unlike the ascended?

or

do they follow the same rules as the ascended and they can't personally intervene?

they are ascended beings but they think that beings under them should worship them. they don't intervene but have humans do their work for them by teaching them secrets of the universe.

Then how did the prior survive on the plante, or how did the other guy in the 2nd ep(?) burn himself up? If they are just "Humans" they have some cool powers.

Also, I'm enjoying BSG more so than SG or SGA, I think SG is trying too hard this season. and well, SGA, i've had mixed feelings for that one. Although, i do like the new guy. He's cool.

The Ori are giving their Priors powers, that's how.

Aye, helps to watch the series. 😛

Now, here is a question for you.

Why do the Vipers, a craft designed as a space superiority fighter, have an altimeter? 😛

But why not do everything themselves? It should be interesting to see why they seem to be "limited", still using stargates and forcefields. Does anyone else get the feeling that they're just hiding behind a curtain of superior technology?

If they were to act directly, the Ancients would intervene to stop them. They have to act through agents, ie, the Priors.

The ancients avoid direct interaction because of their own policies about that, these guys are supposed to be completely independent and just as powerful. I don't believe there's any universal rule to use an agent to do your deeds.

It was said in the series that the Ancients didnt allow the Orii to act in our galaxy (the whole hiding our galaxy part that the orii didnt even know we were here). It was said in the show that the Ancients would stop the Orii if they tried to use their power directly in our galaxy.

ok, so the ori have powers like the ancients, but they can't personally intervene, so they pass their knowledge of the universe to the priors. the priors then use that to make the technology that seems godlike?

if the ori were to personally intervene, then the ascended ancients would step in as well?

if that's the case, then the ancients should pass their knowledge on to humans as well...to make the game even. otherwise, we'd lose...

Prettymuch.

Probably not, but since the ancients sought to shield the existance of this universe from the Ori, they just might. It remains to be seen.

Maybe later. Depends on how many more seasons they get. This will probably happen if they come up against an end-of-run before they have time to pull a victory out of their butts.

Atlantis... 🙂

They left their whole city for us to find... I would call that passing along their knowledge.... just not in the same way the orii do.
