Yes. I've seen the trailers and it's Richard Hatch, who played Apollo in the original series.

ya, it was Apollo, didn't he also play a character in that show from the 70's called "Emergency"??

Man I just wish scifi had a HD channel.... BSG and Atlantis are both shot with HD cams and Atlantis already airs in HD up for the canadians.

SG-1 was alright. I thought Atlantis was pretty good though.

And so far I'm not getting this Battlestar Galactica show.

This has been an awesome night for Sci Fi.

SG-1 episode kind of lacked, Atlantis was pretty awesome. I am begining to get into Battlestar Galactica, however this episode isn't doing it for me.

I agree, SG-1 was okay, not as strong as I would have liked; but Atlantis did show little insights into how some of the major characters think. I'll reserve judgment on BSG as it's only halfway over :)

The Atlantis one is a rerun, I saw that months ago, and I don't live in the UK.

Umm no. It was new. It was part 2 to the episode shown several months ago.

SG-1, good. Interesting to see where that leads....nice little twist to the whole thing.

SG-A, alright, but I haven't been following the series real closely....I like the special effects and hand to hand (well, knife to knife) fight scene.

BSG, going good so far....luckily just watched the miniseries and first episode last week...

RDA said the show was picked up for a 9th season, so there will hopefully be a lot of plot twists and explaining :)

It is cool that at least now they have a 'new' major enemy. No longer the Go'uld (sp?), or what's-his-face, or finding Atlantis but now the replicators. . . again.

I enjoyed all three. I've really been impressed at how well they pulled off BSG as a series considering all those cheesy sci-fi films they "premiere" every couple months.

(not exact words)

Carter: "When will the Asgard deliver the satellite?"

O'Neil: "It will be here in 30 minutes....or it's free."

LMAO :D

Some good dialogue, but Carter was not very bright. The first-level twist was painfully obvious and the second-level twist was less obvious but still something she should have caught.

O'Neill should definitely have caught the first-level twist.

I'd have to agree with that...I was thinking along the same line when I was watching, but yet, it was ok because I was seeing like twice as much of Amanda...heh. :)

Well, without spoiling too much, beyond her being taken prisoner in The Eye, she hasn't been in episodes 11-18. The season finale(19-20) isn't going to be a Genii episode, so I don't think we'll see her until next season. She's a mormon though, so don't be getting any ideas.:p

PS Last night's Enterprise was good :D

Thats funny, I guess the writers forgot about her fate. Locked her up and never let her out.

Yes, last nights Enterprise was very good

That redhead on Stargate Atlantis is so pretty, I would be tempted to become a Mormon just to increase my chances with someone like her. I hope she becomes a regular on the show.
