Tonight's South park episode

JS80

Is it just me or did it seem like the creators were pissed at Comedy Central for censoring last week's episode and submitted this episode in anger? I mean, really, wtf did I just watch?

I think its in line with all the episodes this season: Crap. The facebook episode was decent and the marijuana balls one was great. Everything else has been a pile of dung.

I thought it was funny. I like their off-beat episodes.

This. I also like the random off-beat eps, it breaks up things up a bit in a good way. It's not a fall down laughing ep, but it definitely gets its snickers. I love how Jimmy's team is composed of old school cartoon characters (Elmer Fudd, Porky the Pig, Deputy Dog, etc.).

Yeah, I caught that too.

LOL

I'm not sure, but I sort of thought the old characters were a sort of effyou to comedy central. Not just the rehashed characters, but they re-did a lot of old bits from the old warner brothers 'toons, even down to the melody on the ukelele that causes the explosion.

I'm sorry but I love Towelyey (how he spelled it). I am also a fan of Jimmy/Timmy episodes. I laughed a good bit.

It wasn't one of their biting political/social commentary episodes. It was just one of their goofy funny episodes.

Also, anyone who has ever seen Intervention could get some laughs in there. TBH the only episode I ever watched of that show was the girl addicted to huffing computer duster and that interaction at the register was pretty much exactly like the Intervention episode.

I also thought it was hilarious that they boned Stephen Baldwin bad last night. We tried to get on that site for nearly an hour and it was timed out the whole time. They def spam-fucked the shit out of that website.

Yeah they definitely reused a lot of WB 'toon bits, but I don't see how that's really an FU to CC. Because it's not "original material" ?

I think they didn't really feel like working after making the 200th and 201st episodes. I kept watching hoping it'd lead to some joke at the end (ala Crazy Critter Christmas), but no. Just crap.

I found it amusing. Certainly not a top 10 episode, but entertaining nonetheless.

I'm probably reaching. But maybe it's like saying you might as well just run Bugs Bunny re-runs over and over if you don't want any controversy.
