I have a feeling the Season Finale will end with Chang saving Miles and his mom and getting them off the island. And Miles will probably help his dad save his infant self. He will then realize that Daddy wasn't such a bad guy after all. He didn't desert him, he saved him. And he helped him do it.

This show has got too many people with Daddy issues. 😀

Now that you say that...every main character has daddy issues...its gotta be a clue to something.
 
Actually we did learn one thing from tonites epi.
There was speculation as to what year the Sun/Locke/Lapidus group had ended up in. Some speculated by the appearance of the dock, the cabin, etc it was in the future. The narrator last night said they were in 2007, so that was cleared up.

btw as Hurley was packing for the flight that would take him back to the island, he had to make the decision, "What should I bring if I am going to be stranded on a desert island?"
I'm guessing his luggage was full of bacon.
