Tonight's Nip/Tuck Episode [10-25-2005]...

Disturbing doesnt quite even describe it....

I have only been a follower for the last several episodes but i'm hooked of course.

I really need to get the dvds and start watching from the beginning I feel, but I dont need another hour long show to take up my week!

Maybe I'll get DVR so I can catch up...
 
where the hell is Kit??? They left off with such a cliffhanger and didn't even follow up on it :|
 
I'm at a loss for words. What was the purpose of this show? I realize that this show is not realistic, and I don't watch it for that reason. But this episode was so unrealistic, far fetched and stupid that I can't believe I wasted an hour watching it! Usually, there is some scene that shocks me, speaks to me, or something....... I could have watched paint dry on a wall and been more entertained.

So, the last show ends with Kit being a victim of The Carver, and coming in to have Christian, (yeah right), operate on her face... as if.. she's the reason he went to jail. No talk about Kit's reconstructive surgery. Wouldn't that boost the practice? If the Carver cuts the face of the cop and Christian reconstructs her face pro bono, after she accused him of being the Carver, they would have more press and more clients then ever. As far as the stupid dead body part scene, that would never happen. Not only do Christian and Shawn lack the legal credentials to do this , but a head found buried and attached to other body parts would be so decomposed. No amount of Formaldehyde would preserve that head in the state it was in.

Then Miss HIV is suddenly recovered from her death bed experience to the point of opening a business???? And she wants Julia as a partner? And what's with all the pro Julia crap on the show. Liz leaves her job out of pity for Christian and Troy not having money to pay the staff but then has a change of heart and decides to quit all together and work as a GP doc. I guess the writers are wanting competition between Sean and Julia's businesses in the upcoming shows... boring.

And trading out sexual favors for cheaper prices on supplies.. Hello, there are other ways you can transmit HIV. Are we to believe that a condom or dental dam was used, please. And wow, they sure signed that contract and were building their facility in no time. Then at the end, Sean doesn't want to be a partner anymore because.....maybe it was clear to you but not me... because some guy was screwing his dead sister, because they were doing a facelift on an elderly woman, because it's his time of the month, wtf?

All in all this episode was a letdown, and i'm a huge nip fan
