I've never seen Nip/Tuck, but I did see that Season 1 is available at Best Buy this week for $15.99. Not a bad deal if you want to get into the series. I'm debating picking it up myself.

but why does everyone think it's th new doc? i mean it does seem practical, but the carver has been around since last season and the new doc was in atlanta with his practice... why go to miami every so ofter to slice and dice someone and then go back?

It's the porn star girlfriend (I don't manage to catch the show every week and probably couldn't remember her name even if I did).

She was the one spray-painting Christian's car. The cop-lady got her upset during questioning, and the blonde is definitely the type to take revenge. And she'd have had easy access to one of the condoms. Of course she'd also be able to have planted the tranquilizer, if it turned out Christian didn't really buy it to test the effect on himself. She's also messed up enough in the head to have no problem hurting Christian by Carving him a little. (I didn't see several episodes leading up to that one, so maybe there was a minor thing she might have wanted to take revenge on him for?)

I can't decide if I love the show or not. I like it, but some of the plotlines are just dopy and cliche or just plain boring because they go on for so many episodes (and sex scenes just bore me to tears). If it's only 16 bucks though, I might start watching from the first season.
