looked to me like anubis was making an offering to smokie.

Ya, that looks more like it.

I thought the smoke trail was the head, and that the two were duking it out the second time I looked.

I have a feeling that Ben didn't really shoot Cesar. They planned something. Also, They revealed a lot about the smoke monster at least to the reason why it killed Mr. Echo! I guess for all he did it wasn't good enough to live.

Also what does lay in the shadow of a statue? Isn't that an old riddle?

I'm thinking its the statue with the four toes.

Maybe its because the island told Echo to push the button in the swan, but he failed to continue to do so?

Hieroglyphs

IGN has a pretty good article about all the hieroglyphs.

Also, a well written review of Dead is Dead.

Somehow, I don't know how... but damn, these guys just keep making the show better and better. And the show was already my crack for so long. I might cry once this show is over. And then remember that I promised I have to go back and watch Season 1 and Season 2 on Blu-ray. Will probably at that point decide I need to buy all the seasons on Blu-ray and watch them in order from the beginning once the show has completely wrapped up. It'll be crazy sweet to see all the little moments that set up the major moments, as the writers have done that a LOT. Lots of little things that felt like they meant nothing, only to have new meaning a few seasons later. I imagine watching the first few seasons, once the show is wrapped up, will be a wholly different experience the second time around.
