All things considered it was a pretty entertaining episode; after all, how can you go wrong with Taggart? But wow that was sappy, even by Syfy campy fare. Christmas episodes don't have to be like that.

So they start off with it all snowy. Then when Jack tells the story they are in t-shirts, but that's ok since Jack explains it just happens to very warm that Christmas, 85 degrees.
Then they show Jack at the edge of town. And all the trees have their leaves.

It was filmed in the summer. They hung a lampshade on it, you were supposed to move on.
