This one was MUCH better than last week. You can see how things are going to get interesting now.

Yeah, I agree. Apparently the article in my link was correct. And the review of the third episode next week says it is even better than this weeks epi.
btw Helo is a babe magnet.

Ok, this second episode was definately way better than the first.

Need more Amy Acker though, a LOT more Amy Acker.

Tell me about it...

And less cloths. 😉

So am I the only one that thinks her handler is one also? In the forest she asked "Do you trust me?", and he replied with her exact answer, "As if my life depends on it."

I think he's been treated too.

Much better ep, which is why I usually give shows at least two tries. A lot of good shows have had horrible pilots. I'll watch again next week (on Hulu).

Yep, definite step up from the pilot. I was ready to bag it if #2 was as bad as #1, but now it's earned a couple of more weeks.

Anyone else slightly surprised that Echo is a prostitute? I mean, that it is one of the functions of the Dollhouse is to supply hookers with special interests?
The first episode where she was a hostage negotiator made sense, but the second just kind of cheapened the premise.

That was the line he read with her when he was "bonding" and she reversed the lines so he read her parts.

Well, the first 10 minutes of the pilot had her as a hooker too. If anything, the hostage negotiator was the one 'image' out of place. Can't say I'm surprised, but the marketing for the show had her as someone capable of much more.

It seems that the pilot was the exposition you needed to understand teh dollhouse "universe" whereas this week's episode was the awesome one.... This is kind of similar to watching Serenity before The Train Job for Firefly. Same effect.

Does anyone else think the role "Helo" serves would better be served by, say, Ben Browder? He just isn't as convincing flipping his shit onscreen.

I just watched it on Hulu and I was pretty entertained. I echo (hahaha) the thoughts of others in that this episode was way better than the premier. I'll keep tabs on the show to see how it pans out.

did it suck as much as teh first one? I did not watch b/c of previous suckiness.

terminator still rocks my world, though.

Show last Friday was amazing. I'm psyched for tomorrow's episode. Re: to the person suprised about her being a prostitute: The point of the dollhouse is that if you have enough money, she is whatever you want her to be (i.e. the very definition of a prostitute) and she doesn't even know it.
