🙁 about the series ending... yet again.

Well, they need to make plenty of room to produce typically mediocre UPN programming. I'm sure "The Bad Girls Guide" will be a smash hit.

Best. Episode. Ever!😀 Spoilers!

I especially liked the mini-cliffhanger where you didn't know if Trip would be able to save the ship in time, the Hoshi-T'Pol fight, and Empress Hoshi, I didn't see that coming.😀

I wonder if they could do an entire series based in the alternate "bad" universe. I don't know about you guys, but I'm tired of the whole Boy Scouts in space trip.

A season? Maybe. A series? I doubt it. The series becomes far less complex if you remove the need for characters to make moral choices.

but the KOTOR games were the most fun when you were bad

What about a crew of alternate univ characters trapped in the goodie goodie world? Or vice versa. They could do a whole redemption/corruption thing.

I don't get why everybody is saying this is such a great episode. It was entertaining, but it didn't tie into the original universe at all. I mean, I don't get what significance it had in the show's timeline. At least when they did this in DS9, they did it for a reason, and with characters from the original universe.

It doesn't need to be significant to be a good episode. The best episode of Stargate SG1 for example is non-continuity episode.

Here is my thoughts after seeing that episode...

NO!!! DON'T LET IT STOP!!! WANT TO SEE MORE OF THAT SHIP!!!! WANT VERY BADLY!!!

(Of course, what that episode DOES make very, very clear is that the best POSSIBLE new 'Star Trek' series would be to take all the footage from the original series throughout and simply re-do all the special effects. All the ship to ship combat, all the phaser effects, shields, sets, etc. Put dynamic display textures on all the 'computer screens' in each scene, etc. Heck, you wouldn't even need actors - you could bring the whole original series up to the standard of FX in this last episode with just a special effects team. *drools*)

Its going to be interesting to see if they relate this to the actual enterprise storyline..... it looks like they might with the future episodes short descriptions.

Not gonna happen. There are only 3 episodes left. The next 2 deal with racist humans not happy with the formation of the federation. The last one is the series finale, which is 2 hours long, but upn is breaking it up and showing it over 2 weeks.
