I like how this season of 24 had a disarming of a nuclear country and all the issues involved with that, like Iran.

which leads us with 3 conclusions:

1. dude really isn't some low class convict, or, at least, has connections and is part of the plot (likely, and a very sad plot device)

2. this NY CTU branch is completely amateur (the Hastings guy still has the same limp and hunch from Heat, still not a believable actor), and are way over their heads. ...Hell, it's obvious already. Anyway, they want to use that story to weakly, and unnecessarily expose the weakness of this iteration of CTU.

3. bad writing.

that's it, really. only possible reasons for that sub-plot.

not to mention you think CTU would do a background check on her and find that he went by a diffrent name. so she wouldnt be worried about the ex ratting her out.
 
Anyone notice that Starbuck isn't the only BSG character on the show... I believe I saw Leobens (Cylon #2) mugshot when Renee was briefing Hastings and Cole on her Russian associates.

I've only watched a few episodes of previous Seasons, might try to watch this Season all the way through. Maybe even watch the past seasons.

So far so good, but Starbuck should deep six the asshole ASAP.

I guess fox is picking through the BSG cast. The show Human Target had 6 on it, and the head doctor.
 
i just wanted to say that the best part of this season so far, is how they found a stolen car in NYC about 5 minutes after it was reported stolen by some random guy on a cell phone.

yeah its been going on and it gets annoying. how many idiots can they hire to run CTU? its rather annoying. lets see you have Bauer (who is considered one of the top guys in his field) and cloe (who had worked for ctu for years and helped save the world over and over) both saying hold on this looks like a setup. and the head of CTU blows them off? yeah might want to listen to experts..bah

Also the chick that has a diffrent name who is like #2 in charge at ctu (the BSG girl) annoyes me. how inept are they that they didn't check her out? i would think they did a damn good background check on her..
 
- Hastings demeanor 100% of the time with his shoulder up and head down peering upward is getting really annoying.

- Katee Sackoff is nothing special... maybe only because BSG fans thought she was hot (and probably just in the geek world). I watch geek shows too but come on, get real... why was she big news?

- Sark (from Alias) as a bad guy again - awesome.

It is tiring. That said, stalker dude is Clayne Crawford. I watched 'Smokin' Aces 2' last night and he did a pretty good job in the supporting character's role. Mebbe his character in '24' will be expanded...?
