I was gonna say it was slow moving...but WOW!

2 things came outta nowhere!

I really thought Terri was gonna die! oh well.... :p

Jack's daughter should at least be a little safer now.

Palmer is screwed though...the guys financing him are gonna be PISSED!

I think that dude with Jack is dirty...he HAS to be!

and how about that preview!! what's hidden underground??

I love the fact that Palmer and Tony both go from guys that were rather annoying to guys that just plain kick ass.

I also love the interaction between the Palmer family. Mr. and Mrs. Palmer both do some damn fine acting.

Dennis Hopper next week eh! What was the name of bomb movie where he was a mastermind? I think Keanu Reeves was in it?

Yeah, I've thought that temporary boss has been dirty for weeks. He just looks it.

I can't wait until Mrs. Palmer walks out. I can't stand her.

Jack's daughter still seems to be kinda stupid, but oh well. At least I don't think she'll get killed in jail.

I'm actually starting to like Palmer, which is something I didn't think I could do, but I think he's screwed with his "financers."

Finally, I'm glad Tony grew some balls and used a gun. I didn't like him at first, but I'm really starting to like him.

As always, can't wait till next week.:D

Hmm.. all my searches for Reeves and Hopper come up with Speed, so I probably am confusing two movies together. Ah well.

I'm sure everyone thinks the dude with Jack is dirty, which is why, near the end, they had him walking behind Jack, and I'm sure all of us were expecting him to attack Jack at any second.

Question for y'all - being that this all happens in real time, was it feasible for Tony to get to the Bauer house in what, like 10-15 minutes, maybe? Didn't it take Jack awhile to get to the office in the first episode (tho' I know he had other stuff to do while going there).

yeah, the show is totally *trying* to make us believe jack's boss is dirty...i spose most likely he's not.

and yes, there's NO way Tony couldv'e gotten there that fast...but it's sorta believable i guess...(it was cool because nina bitched at him and asked if he "was doing enough" and he got out and ended up doing more!!)

Considering Tony tried to get a hold of the agent he placed there w/o an answer, I'm sure he ran a couple of lights getting there.

That drug bust was a pretty awesome twist. Wasn't even expecting that - nice twist. Also liked Tony coming in and saving Terri. Regarding Jack's boss - I said that the last 2 weeks :p It's definetly a lot more watchable now though

Sorry it took me so long to reply, but I've been a tad busy.

My thoughts on the ep:

- There is absolutely no way Mason is dirty (the guy currently with Jack). He was already suspected way earlier in the season when Jack had to shoot him with the traquilizer gun. If they turned around and made him dirty, I would be very disappointed.
- I liked the Tony saving Terri thing, simply because I think Tony's awesome. I would have maybe liked something a little less expected there, but heroism is okay. Maybe the stupid broad will remember something now.
- The Palmer subplot with the wife is fantastic. In his greatest time of need, she compliments his tie. What an icequeen. I can't wait to see Carl's retalition to Palmer's admitting there was a coverup.
- I'm kind of disagreeing with the "coolness" of the random arrest at Rick's house. I don't qualify this as really a big "twist" considering I don't think you can introduce a character in the same show you have them involved in a plot twist. Just my opinion, but it was still cool getting that idiot guy keeping them all hostage in the house arrested.
- A REAL plot twist would have been when Palmer's daughter was freaking out, for her to admit something like she was never raped or something. I so thought she was going to say something big when she was on the couch convulsing and saying "I'm so sorry" over and over. Now THAT would lead to some twisting!

I was waiting for that too. It would have been a bit of a twist, but I'm glad she didn't say it since that subplot should get more interesting now.

I've missed a few episodes here and there....so What happened to jack's wife? y does she have amneisia? Why is the mom and daughter seperated now? weren't they at a safehouse?

the safehouse turned out not to be safe! all the "trained" guards were wiped out in a matter of seconds :(

Terri and Kim escaped through the garage and drove away in a car...but when they parked and Terri got out Kim fell over a cliff with the car and the car exploded (dumb!)

Kim was ok, and wandered over to her boyfriends house (the dude she's obsessed with aka her kidnapper)

the mom thought her daughter was dead and went into such shock that she forgot everything about her life (i *guess* this could happen)

It would be far too obvious, besides if he was in cahoots with the Drazens, why would he continually
set Jack free to go after them?

It's a shame that that assassin failed to take out Terri, I paid him and the writers $20,000 to make it happen.

No idea how Tony got there, I was a 100% sure that it would be the doctor guy using his thug's gun
who would save the day.

One of the funnier moments last night was when she picked up the BIG PINK BOX WITH "MOM" INSCRIBED ON IT, and said, "My daughter made this for me"...

NOOO!! YOU THINK SO??!?!?!?!?!

because he wants jack to think his family is safe. if he starts worrying about his family, he won't put enough effort into find palmer's assasins.

UGH! i know...i could hardly sit in my seat after that....thank GOD people started getting shot!
