Tonights 24 episode! **spoilers**

I found the episode to (obviously) be pretty laid back.

1) If palmer can spank chapelle with 1 phone call, then hopefully jack will be able to get all charges dropped pretty quickly because they're chummy now

2) that whole nina and jack's wife thing is kinda weird...

3) jack's family is SO dead...who was the one with the bright idea to go to a secluded "safe house?" geez...

overall, plots moving...but not enough explosions!

edit: hmm....looks like jack's wife is gonna go psycho on anyone that approaches her...what a weirdo!
 
I watched. I loved it when he spanked chappelle. But that other b1tch thought she was queen sh1t of f*ck mountain.
 
Another Great episode of a Great show. Of course the show has taken on a different "style" now, since everything is laid out in the open, and there aren't as many mysteries. They just have to be creative in different ways to make things interesting.

I can't wait till next episode when there should be an attempt on the life of Teri/Kim at the safe house (no, that's not a spoiler... that's just my prediction... c'mon it's so obvious!).

It was also cool to see Palmer and Jack work together and also that short-lived DoD guy introduced...
 
I'll bite, so the outcome will be Jack is cleared, the Senator will be out of danger...

Plot twists:
1.) Chappelle is a mole/double agent & will get caught.
2.) One of the good guys gets killed, I hope they don't go Hollywood & everyone lives happily ever after, I'd bet one of the Senator's family is injured or killed during an assination attempt, wife or son would be good candidates.

Wife loves this show, I get a kick out of the whole format. Fox tried to be a quality outfit when they started up, and nearly died in the attempt till they started playing to the lowest common denominator: Married With Children, Simpson's, etc. Glad they took a chance on 24

Well, just by watching the first few episodes, I'm sure the writers have no prob. bucking the Hollywood trend and offing a few more people.

Senator Palmer is back in my good graces again. He was starting to get too moral and wishy-washy that it was hard for me to care about him. But now he's back as a guy I want to see protected.

My guess is that at some point soon Terri is gonna attempt suicide.

Alright! Goodie goodie, a 24 discussion....

Here are some of my thoughts/questions:

1) This episode was unfortunately pretty slow, uneventful, and painfully predictable. But the last 15 minutes was great! The Terri / Nina conversation was very well done, and Kim is looking as hot as ever in her hospital gown.
2) I'm not liking this new traitor chick that's sleeping with the new assassin. It's just too obvious.
3) Did the new assassin say he was the brother of the head head guy? (forget his name at the moment) That could prove to be important.
4) I agree that Palmer has proven to be a better character. He's all pissed off now and has gotten away from his moral convictions. The way Green was all mad when Palmer laid down the law against Chapelle was awesome!
5) Does anyone think Terri is going to lose her baby because of the raping? That would really piss Jack off.
6) I wonder how the Kim / Rick situation is going to be played out. I like how Nina isn't falling for any of Kim's bullsh!t about Rick not really being part of the kidnapping.

Well, i guess that's all for now... keep this thread flowing!

2) actually, if you watched the preview of next week, it looks like she's not a traitor...he seduced her purposely because she's close to palmer

4) i agree! and palmer is HUGE! when he was in front of chappelle, he looked like he was gonna sit on him or something!
5) somethings gonna happen to terri...she needs a kick in the pants though. i wish she'd just tell jack what happened to her already!
6) Kim is an AWFUL lyer....thank god she's hot! she's gotta give up this obsession with rick! find a boy band or something to oogle!

Was it just me, or did all the women (Terri, Kim, Nina) look hotter than usual last night? I was never a big fan of Terri's looks, but she actually looked pretty good last night.

Anyway, I think Nina and Kim are pretty hot. Not a fan of Terri whatsoever, though, just can't get past that short, lesbian-style hair.

Tony is gonna be railing Nina by the end of the season.
 
Kim defintely looks better, she doesn't look chubby like she did in her clothes from the beginning. Now I know what women mean when they say 'does this make me look fat'. 😀

yeah, dreysin's wife/daughter were in the bunker, that's why they want jack's wife/daughter
