he wasn't addicted in the first 2 seasons. obviously when he was undercover trying to get salizar, they got him addicted to it.

i thought he had a permanent heart problem from the torture or something until i saw the drugs.

Me too. That's why I thought he was out of breath, and in pain earlier. It turned out it was just wihtdrawal.
 
the first thing i will poke fun at is the fact that the virus happens to take 24 hours to kill....hahah

lots of questions to be answered

but would rather have commercials instead of looking at fords all episode long!!
and that stupid ford skit in the beginning was a waste of time!!!

ROFLMAO!!!! Even in a show known for its outrageous plot twists that call for some serious suspension of disbelief, this new development takes the cake. Clearly the writing team has given up any pretence for realism and plans to pretty much go ape-sh*t this time around. I anticipate the craziness ramping up as the season moves along, until it eventually reaches the point where we can no longer differentiate between an episode of 24 and the typical Monty Python sketch.

Anyway, overall it wasn't the best episode I've seen but definitely far from the worst. I'm satisfied. :beer:

Yeah, I did feel a soap opera vibe that kind of freaked me out. But I won't start doubting my masculinity until one of the female characters announces her pregancy...then it's panic time. 😉

KeyserSoze, as I stated in my PSA: Season 3 of 24 starts in about... thread, I wasn't able to watch the season premier in real time here on the East coast, but I just finished watching it on tape and I must say, of the past two season premiers, this one sets up the best season of 24 yet! A lot of plot explaining and unanswered questions will definitely have me glued to my TV this season 🙂

Jack IS back! 😀
 
well i'm glad that at least the foreign terrorists had genuine accents. season one of 24 was awesome (as was season 2), but jesus christ i couldn't stand dennis hopper and his bullsh!t russian accent. kudos to the casting crew this time around.
