Spoilers below once 24 airs EST, You have been warned!

Seems to have worked fine for the past 7 seasons, so let's just basically cut & paste again:

I'm starting this thread very early tonight to try and set up two little ground rules that many members have complained about before w/ previous 24 threads.

Please don't post anything about the next episode or a plot synopsis for the current episode until it has completely aired.

For example, at the end of tonight's show, they will run a preview of the next episode and many of the members here don't want to know this info; this thread should only be used to discuss events in tonight's episode and past episodes. Any other suggestions are welcome, thanks 🙂

If you missed any of the previous episodes from Season 1, Season 2, Season 3, Season 4, Season 5, Season 6, 24 Redemption or Season 7, catch up here:

Season 1 Episode Guide

Season 2 Episode Guide

Season 3 Episode Guide

Season 4 Episode Guide

Season 5 Episode Guide

Season 6 Episode Guide

24 Redemption

Season 7 Episode Guide

Season 8 Episode Guide

2 Hours and 51 minutes till a new episode of 24: Day 8 🙂

so about halfway through this season (or whenever Netflix made them avilaable), I started watching the previous seasons that I missed. I originally started at season 6, about 4 episodes in. Last week, I finally finished season 5, and so I'm pretty much caught up.

Kind of weird, though. trying to keep track of everything that's going on in the current season at 1 episode per week while force-feeding on 3-7 D: episodes/night of the previous seasons is rather confusing. Only yesterday, I finally had gotten to the episode in season 6 when I first watched 24....but I think I'm gonna keep on watching the season. I knew nothing about Logan and a few others going in, so I've forgotten his involvement with Jack's dad/season 6 plot.

Also missed the relevance of very important characters, like Tony Almeda, who I only knew as the bad guy/good guy/bad guy from season 7. Rofl. I really like Tony now, the poor bastard.

One of my favorite moments is early in season 4, when Jack goes to Tony's apartment. A drunken, washed-up, and depressed Tony pours a Bud into his Cubs mug and plops down in his chair to watch some ball: pimp.

Also, Michele Dessler was super fucking hot. Really hate that they killed her off. Now I'm not sure if I prefer her or Renee. :hmm:

i want logan to take a whupping, but at the same time i hope he escapes all this and returns for the rumored movie. itzin does such a great job with the character and i kind of like him being the foil to jack. of course now that ive gone and put that out there he'll probably be taking two in the head.

Please, PLEASE finally give President Logan the beating that deserved two seasons ago... PLEASE? 🙂

I wouldn't be surprised if Jack kills him. I'm pretty sure they are going to kill Jack at the end of the season. I think he will have a high body count between now and then with a shock killing or two.

I don't know if he's going to kill Logan, I was thinking that he would just get a serious beat-down.

Hmm... are their any other badasses from previous seasons that I want Jack to kill before the series ends?

Besides the Chinese, I can't think of many... Even Jack Bauer can't take out the entire Chinese army in 90 minutes 🙂
