But he didn't even have Michelle then. In fact, at that time, Michelle hadn't even been cleared by CDC to leave the hotel. That would show a lot of forethought and guessing by Saunders.

There's gotta be something else.

Chapelle was the main person tracking him down. Saunders wanted to kill him to stop the search.

I love how they came in, did their job, then just continued on their business.

Jack: "Thanks guys, you helped save a couple million people."
F18 Pilot: "All in a days work"
 
Bad ass episode! The gun fight was cool....I don't understand though - they had teams setup in two positions - the other team should have easily cut off Saunders.

Yeah, but that wouldn't be as exciting. 🙂

I think that one team was set up behind Tony, and the other team was on top of the bridge and came down one side of the bridge. Perhaps Saunders merely exited on the other side of the bridge.

Ahh....well yea it definitely wouldn't have been exciting without the jet shooting a missile, that was cool. I just meant at least cutting off the guys from behind or something, not necessarily Saunders. I think Jack or Chase told them to setup in two spots - one on either side of the exchange point

I have to say this was one of the most exciting episodes. The last 10 minutes I was yelling at my TV. When those F-18's came in I was screaming and laughing at the top of my longs.

Some good entertainment tonight.
 
Anyone surprised at the President okaying the stealing of evidence? Anyone think his brother will screw up again? :laugh:

That was a great episode. After the helicopter was hit, I was thinking that Jack would go over, point a gun at Saunders, and yell at him to say where the other vials were. After Jack did that, I wanted Saunders to say "Jack, pointing a gun and yelling may work on people like Tony and in other seasons, but it won't work on me."

and i don't think anyone really cares about the presidential subplot this season... not any more.

the CTU main thread is FAR more interesting.

palmer was wasted this season.

Well I think the writers realize also that the Palmer subplot isn't as exciting these days. It is an election year in 24, so maybe he'll lose the election. 'course that'd likely mean that 24 would take place outside the US next season, so the Pres. wouldn't need to be as involved.
