This was the best episode this season, IMO.

Thank god the fourth season avoided the mid-season slump of past ones. It's been great all the way through.

As for the blood, I'm wondering since it looks like one of the guards scratched him, if maybe they'll get a forensic team on it and the agent's in some kind of database.

I thought about that as well, and my theory is that they will work in some subplot line about DNA "evidence" tracing some American back to the attack on the embassy, or hell in the world of "24" perhaps they will identify the exact individual. Point is, I am sure it will be used as some plot device for the Chinese.

I think this season has been pretty awesome, as somebody else mentioned it has been pretty intense all of the way through. Sure some episodes were slower than others but they did not slow down as bad as midway through Season 3.

The last 5 minutes were incredibly intense. I had to pace around my tv room. (I was home alone, so I didn't look like a complete loser.)

The fact that Paul died is what I love most about this show. You can expect the unexpected and there is always a chance the bad guys will win. As terrible as it might be, it would be 'different' to have the nuclear device go off, then see the clock flash the final four seconds and the season is over. That would be intense. Further, I love the Habib Marwan character. Best villian since Ira Gaines. (he was the schit.)

(I did not see season 3 yet, so please no one state anything that occurs during that one.)

You are a little late to the party, because this season only has 3 episodes left. If you are totally new to the show, then go and rent the 1st season, and go from there. You won't be sorry.
