Spoilers below once 24 airs EST, You have been warned!

Seems to have worked fine for the past 7 seasons, so let's just basically cut & paste again:

I'm starting this thread very early tonight to try and set up two little ground rules that many members have complained about before w/ previous 24 threads.

Please don't post anything about the next episode or a plot synopsis for the current episode until it has completely aired.

For example, at the end of tonight's show, they will run a preview of the next episode and many of the members here don't want to know this info; this thread should only be used to discuss events in tonight's episode and past episodes. Any other suggestions are welcome, thanks 🙂

If you missed any of the previous episodes from Season 1, Season 2, Season 3, Season 4, Season 5, Season 6, 24 Redemption or Season 7, catch up here:

Any theories (personal...I don't want to hear about any leaks) on how the series is going to end? I give about a 70% chance Jack dies and a 60% chance it's at his own hand. Not sure if Fox is willing to go that far though. Odds of a happy ending with him doing something like killing Logan or the guy they capture at the end of last season or Tony (he still alive? I forget) and then hopping on a plane to retire with his daughter and family...3%.

I'm not sure if I'd say evil but he's certainly less altruistic than he's portraying himself to President Taylor. I suspect he's trying to cover himself.

Come on... 5 CTU agents vs Jack friggin Bauer with a machine gun? That wasn't a fair fight. They should have given him a pocket knife or something 🙂

Try as I may, I can't feel bad about Dana Walsh getting tortured for a few minutes before Jack Bauer rescues her... she kinda earned it.

Hell yeah, waterboard her ass! 🙂

I don't get it. Jack knew it was a setup because he knew Chloe? I thought knowing Chloe meant that he would have suspected her to be telling the truth and on his side, since she has ALWAYS taken his side, against orders even.

I think he knew she wouldn't go against an order of the President. I think, because I understand what you're saying.

I think it's almost a shame the series is ending because this is about the best season I remember. It did get off to a slow start that lasted too long though.

They were really just phoning in the script toward the end weren't they...

Jack: "I need two MP5s, blah, blah, blah, and several assult rifles." Really? And all that shit fit into a moderately sized dufflebag. C'mon.

Cloe: Walks out of office "Attention Please, We are running an operation led by Whoozits to capture Jack Bauer". Way to state the obvious Cloe. This is what everyone has been doing the whole episode. Did you really need to get everyone's attention to tell them what they are already doing?

With him against the good guys I don't see this ending well for Jack. jail time... unless the president steps in...

maybe Logan has the final word 🙁

Not to mention he asked for MP5's and got MP7's!

I'm saddened by the lack of replies to the final season of 24.

Jack Bauer did alot for this country, you all owe him your piece of mind. 🙂

I can't wait to see how this ends, it doesn't look good.

I'm enjoying the end of the season so far. Just wish it would move along a little faster.

I still need to go back and watch seasons 6 and 7. Are they worthwhile?

She was explaining to them what's just about to start, which is a *sting operation* to capture Jack Bauer. Which has just become possible after she talked to Cole. Prior to that point they were just searching for him (there was no plan on luring him to that warehouse, etc).

Season 6 was thought by many to be the worst season of them all. Personally it was stay enjoyable 24 but not that great. I am watching it again as we speak (on ep 3).

Season 7 was great. Make sure you watch the movie Redemption beforehand as it shows events before season 7.

EVERY season is worthwhile.

if you think this is the best season, you must have started watching 24 at season 6.

this is the same old rehashed crap as usual. i'm glad it is ending.

that said, it IS still entertaining. although i do not find myself glued to the TV on mondays at all. i just find some time during the week to catch up and watch it.
