Worked fine three week's in a row so let's just cut & paste again:

I'm starting this thread very early tonight to try and set up one little ground rule that many members have complained about before w/ previous 24 threads.

Please don't post anything about the next episode

For example, at the end of tonight's show, they will run a preview of the next episode and many of the members here don't want to know this info; this thread should only be used to discuss events in tonight's episode and past episodes. Any other suggestions are welcome, thanks 🙂

Shall I give a few pre-show spoilers? Friend of mine works for a FOX affiliate and he gives me a bit of info before each show 🙂

You don't need a friend. Just find the whole episode for download the night (or same morning) before it airs.

Alright I was thinking about this and someone has to have a logical explanation: how can CTU be both so inept and ept at the same time? IE, think about their agents both this and last season. Last season they were getting killed left and right like mad crazy. Supposedly trained government agents getting shot like they were 6 year olds.

This season so far only 2 have been killed (not including the explosion at CTU) with more likely to come. Yet at the same time Jack and only 4 SWAT guys can take out an entire platoon of Special Ops (supposedly pretty elite Special Ops considering they asked Jack to join them back when he was Spec. Ops also) I know SWAT usually consists of more highly trained and specially picked guys (IRL FBI hand picks the cream of the crop for their SWAT teams) but you'd think military based Spec Ops specialize in that kind of thing. It's also kind of screwy to think that there is that much differential in skill in CTU between SWAT and their regular "field agents".

Anyway, 50 minutes left, can't wait!

Don't get me wrong - I love the show and I know it has it's flaws b/c it has to walk the line between believable and unbelievable (more geared towards unbelievable) but there's no way a Spec Ops unit can be taken out like their citizens by CTU, the same place that employs walking dead guys (field agents)

Yea..you can do that. I know someone who got episodes of Friends the morning of the day it aired. I'm sure you could do that w/ 24 too. I'm excited about tonight's show..but at the same time..I'm feeling more than a little lazy about watching it. I had such a good time last week b/c I finally got my boyfriend liking the show...and we had so much fun watching it together. This week..I'm alone in my room again..heh. It's not fun watching this ALONE!! 🙂
