How do you refer to 2 AM the following the day? Tonight or tomorrow morning? Say it's Tuesday now and your flight is 2 AM Wednesday.

2 am wednesday is on wednesday

so if it is currently tuesday, then wednesday is part of tomorrow

I travel a lot so red eye flights are common. Just noticed it more and more across random people I meet and talk to who refer the early AM as tonight.

tonight unless it's 5am or later..

because if you were out till 3am, you say you were out late last night.

if i will be sleeping at home before my flight then it will be tomorrow morning. if i will be staying up until i leave it will be later tonight.
