Tonight, I didn't let a friend walk all over me. I stood up for myself, told her what was what, and made it crystal clear that if we were to remain friends, that this bullsh!t would not continue. I've been the sucker nice guy long enough, and friends don't do that to friends. I forgave her for what she'd done not because I felt sorry for her, but because it was the right thing to do.
