I especially loved the snarky and rhetorical e-mail question Baier went with. It's like he culled it straight from one of their article's online comment sections. I can't recall a more disrespectful interview of any sitting or former executive. Stay classy Fox News.

Did you like how Obama dodged the questions too?

His answers could have been better and more direct, but that doesn't excuse the interviewer. When you're the sitting POTUS basic respect demands that you're allowed to finish your answers without being continually interrupted, dodges or not.

that's bullshit... so you let bo use you to do his stump speech as the answer to every question and eat up the whole 12 minutes you were so graciously granted? baloney... if bo has so little respect for the interviewer then he deserves to get interrupted...

There's that Fox News attitude. Instead of allowing Obama to present his position and let the viewers decide for themselves if he's full of shit or not (ie: reporting the news) they have to actively interject themselves the situation (manipulating the news).

don't know who that is. The most widely accepted concise measure of the economy is GDP, your assignment is the check what it's been doing since Jan. 09.

Because it is possible for one man to affect the GDP immediately, amirite?

You and I both know that if he hadn't interrupted, Obama would have eaten up the entire interview with talking points. Thats the whole reason why he wanted to give the interview on Fox, to try to get his message out to millions of viewers that normally he wouldnt reach. When he found out that Bair wasn't a softball interview, and instead was more Oreilly esque (IE, getting asked tough questions), he squirmed, dodged, and moaned his way through it.

I submit to you that if you had 1,000 independants watch that interview, over 50% would say it did not reflect well on Obama, especially after the part where he implied hes A-OK with Deeming and passing.

He can be in front of a camera or in front of any group of people and lie like there's no tomorrow. He'll say anything to further his agenda.

I've worked with several pathological liars over the years. They can be very dangerous in a number of different ways.

But this very trait, this ability to lie with no qualms, is what endears him so greatly to the progressives. Winning at any cost. The ends justify the means. This man is very dangerous.

There was one thing I learned from this interview. In the past I had given him the benefit of the doubt. Perhaps his attitude was that Pelosi and Reid were to some degree loose cannons but that they were effective (in his eyes) and that he was giving them some leeway. No more. When he says that we just need to pass the bill and then evaluate it, I knew without a doubt that he was calling the shots.

If we manage to survive his presidency with our Republic intact, I wonder how long it will take for the public to forget what happens when you put a Marxist in the white house that surrounds himself with other Marxists?

LOL at all the "sky is falling" dogma you spew. I think the tightie righties are actually hurting themselves in the long run with all their negativity and out and out lying, particuarly about Obama.

One only needs to look back at the trumped up intelligence and lying campaign conducted by the last president to start the war with Iraq to see a "real" case of "the end justifiys the means".

It seems obvious to me that you are several bricks short of a full load.

Oh Baier was O'reilly-esque alright. If Obama was just their to spout talking points without any substance, Fox would have let him and torn him apart afterward. You folks are so damn scared of Obama's words like he is some socialist hypnotist out to mesmerize "real" Americans.

Well there is a reason they concentrated on that other than actual substance of the bill. God forbid Fox viewers hear that this isn't the "government takeover of healthcare" that Fox continually spouts off about.

I submit to you that the Republicans will gain seats in the house and senate this november, at the expense of democarts of course, mostly do to this unpopular healthcare bill.

Do you agree with that assertion?

Obama doesn't just represent the independants. HA major reason he was elected to pass healthcare reform, so they will ram through what they can get. If the R's entrenched lines hadn't been all about obstructing such reform (since the Clinton days) maybe, just maybe there could have been more of a bi-partisian effort, but that's not the way it came down so it is what it is.

Pass the damn thing already so I can see all you people who opposed health care reform tooth and nail start whining about costs!! Misery just LOVES company.

I don't care if they do. I'm talking about the long run here and in the long run the health care bill will prove to be a good thing and the R's will suffer from being seen as obstructionists.

He was there to spout talking points...did you hear him? And why on earth would Fox, or any news station for that matter, just let him do it and then "torn him apart afterward"? That makes no effing sense. As soon as he started spinning and squirming he was called on it, as he should have been, and then you come to his defense crying foul. haha

You should care. Your pal Obama will essentially be a lame duck after November until his term is up, and getting re-elected is no guaruntee either.

I also submit to you that most Americans WANT obstructionists on this bill, at least according to every poll I look at. They are not suffering one bit from trying to block this bill, they are gaining momentum heading into November. No?

Like I said, allowing the news to happen then reporting it and letting folks decide for themselves is journalism, so no expectation for Fox to actually do that.

What? Allowing Obama to talk all he wants and not answer the questions directly for the entire 12 minute interview would have been journalism to you? What? Huh?

He was there for an INTERVIEW. In Interviews, people are asked questions and expected to answer them. If he couldnt handle the heat of tough questions from Fox, my advice would have been to not go on. If he wants a platform to get out his talking points, uninterrupted and unchallenged, he can go on Keith Olbermann or Chris Matthews.

He was there to sell the healthcare reform plan and if they don't let him finish his answers before asking another question what was the point of him doing the interview? None, nada.

Even the interviewer ackowledged that he interrupted a lot. How can you answer a question when you haven't been allowed to finish your answer on the last question you were asked? DUHHH

He was the worst interviewer I've ever seen. How the hell he got to interview a POTUS is beyond me?? I wager he never will again.

It was pretty obvious he was not clearly answering the questions, and instead rambling on about other things he was not asked about. When this happened, he was called on it. Boo hoo

LOL, big talk from the biggest liars in the western world. You need to learn to do some of your own thinking instead of listening to the Neocon talking points. The Rush Limpdick strategy has pretty much run its course and those tactic just aren't working the way they used to.

Well, my opEXCUSE ME EXCUSE MEinion of thMR. PRESIDENT BUTe intervBUT BUT MR. PRESIDENTiew was it cBUT BUT THIS OTHER POINTould use leB-B-B-BUTss interruption.

Interview usually means allowed to answer questions, not being continually interrupted and not allowed to answer. You know why Sarah Palin comes off as so retarded? Interviewers don't interrupt her. They ask her a question and let her answer however she wants to. If Obama was there to BS the whole time, Fox should have allowed him to do it unfettered and exposed the BS.

Never mind the fact this is a sitting POTUS and it was a damn disrespectful way to conduct yourself.

I watched the interview and Obama was answering the questions, but framed them the way he wanted, not the way they were asked. That's Obama's perogative. To continually interupt him and change the question before the answer was complete was just rude, disrespectful, and unnecessary.
